PINEY HILLS QUILT GUILD

The Piney Hills Quilt Guild meets the 2nd Thursday of each month. We meet at Grace United Methodist Church which is located at 3401 Trenton Street, Ruston, Louisiana in the Recreation Room. Yearly dues are $12.00 which covers the cost of a newsletter and program materials. Each month we have a different program which the members are taught different quilting skills. This past year we had programs on machine quilting, water color quilting, stained glass quilting , paper piecing, liberated quilting, applique, and various quilting and piecing techniques. Each year our guild does a raffle quilt. This year's quilt is an original. Monies raised from the sale of donation quilts goes to support various organizations in our community like Med-Camp, DART, and the Crisis Pregnancy Denter.
